The Courses
The Undergraduate Program in Science And Techniques Of Psychology aims to acquire from the student skills and knowledge that characterize various areas of psychology and humanities, as well as the biology studies associated with it, which enable him to be admitted to the a postgraduate program of psychology (a title necessary for practicing the profession of α Psychologist) or to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the conceptual, methodological and technical tools of psychological analysis and intervention.
Objectives
The curriculum in Psychology Science and Techniques sets the following specific training objectives on knowledge and skills:
- Acquiring excellent basic knowledge of the main thematic fields of psychology
- Acquisition of the theoretical and methodological principles that characterize the different psychological environments within the framework of the interdisciplinary training that takes care of the biological, neuropsychological, philosophical, pedagogical, anthropological and sociological dimensions
- Acquiring the appropriate methodological and research-based knowledge either through special education or through seminars
- Acquiring functional and practical first level skills, especially in the thematic areas of general, development, clinical and social psychology
- Acquiring appropriate knowledge and practical skills to process data for research purposes and to manage information through shared IT tools.
Teaching
The undergraduate program is structured in a way that guarantees students specific skills to apply the knowledge they acquire. Each lesson does not only foresee theoretical depth (video lessons, telecast lessons, etc.). It proposes interactive activities and virtual classes aimed at consolidating skills even through exercises in various thematic environments. In addition, activities with a value of training and guidance are foreseen.
