The Courses
The undergraduate program in Corporate and Business Communication aims to provide a basic interdisciplinary preparation that aims at understanding, analyzing and using the instruments of modern communication in all its dimensions: advertising, marketing, corporate communication, e-commerce etc. Particular care has been taken to foster the development of communication-related skills within enterprises and institutions.
Objectives
At the end of the curriculum the student will have acquired:
- basic skills in communication and interpretation of communication processes from socio-anthropological, historical-philosophical and sociological aspects
- Ability to address legal, organizational and economic innovations determined by the development and dissemination of communication phenomena
- methodological skills for assessment and intervention in communication processes, through IT courses and media courses
- Language skills for analyzing, managing and producing texts, with particular regard to the ability to effectively use the Italian language, even in the institutional and advertising environment
- Excellent knowledge of two foreign languages (English and Spanish) with the aim of exchanging written and spoken information in areas requiring special abilities.
Teaching
The curriculum is three years: the first year is characterized by the presence of courses of sociology, computer science and semiotics accompanied by methodology courses and lessons of economic and organizational content. The second year places emphasis on sociological, organizational and methodological lessons, introducing the legal environment. The third year provides courses in philosophy, politology and semiotics with a clear focus on communication languages.
Students are given the opportunity to personalize some selection exams. Further training and orientation training is foreseen.
